Keith Andrews brings RAM and Jeep to join BYD in Northland

Northlanders looking to purchase a new RAM truck or Jeep will no longer need to travel to Auckland to do so, following the addition of the two premium brands to the Keith Andrews 21 Rewa Rewa Road dealership in Whangarei.

Keith Andrews’ full sales, parts and service dealership at 21 Rewa Rewa Road now includes Jeep and RAM alongside the recently added BYD vehicle range and longstanding Mercedes-Benz Vans offering – all of which feature EV or hybrid options.

The dealership is led by Whangarei local Mac Sykes, who started at Keith Andrews as a mechanical apprentice and has risen through the ranks with two international Mercedes-Benz Service Manager of the Year awards to his name.

“We’re really proud and excited to extend our passion and expertise in this area to include these two new premium brands for our customers in Northland,” said Sykes.

“We measure ourselves against the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction and look forward to delivering on that for BYD EV, Jeep and RAM enthusiasts.”

Sykes is assisted by specialist sales manager David Argar and sales representative Louis Berkers, along with a dedicated support team in parts, service and customer service.

Argar has been working in the car industry since 1994. He said:

“RAM is synonymous with large, powerful utility vehicles at the top-end of the market, while Jeep is an iconic brand that hasn’t been represented in Northland retail for a long time. Both brands have a strong following and I’m very excited to start building new customer relationships through these ranges and through BYD.”

“We have a wide range in stock, including EV and hybrid options, and are inviting anyone interested in a test drive to come in and see us,” added Sykes.

Included in the BYD line-up is the fully electric Atto 3, which was recently awarded AA Driven ‘NZ Best Clean Car BEV of the year 2022’.

The Mercedes-Benz Van range includes the eVito and eSprinter, while hybrid options are available for RAM and Jeep.

“For customers still trying to get their heads around owning an EV or hybrid, we can provide specialist advice and access to home charging technology,” said Sykes. “We welcome any enquiries, so extend the invitation to anyone to come down for a test drive and a coffee.”
